Heritage Days Activities
Saturday, June 10th, 9:00am-12:00pm
The library will be open for alumni and guests on Saturday morning from 9 until noon. At 10:00 Alan Baltz, the generous donor for our digitzation projects for the Tailfeathers and the Plaindealers, will do a walk through presentation to familiarize everyone on the operational details of these search engines. There will be a number of Chatsworth historical documents on display such as:

1) The contents of the Germanville church cornerstone
2) Chairs from the Baltz car dealership
3) Millard Maxson's collection of Chatsworth centennial photos
4) Showcase of books written by Chatsworth natives
5) Issues of the Plaindealer from 1887 and 1967
6) Slide show from Jerry Birkenbeil's time in Vietnam
7) Etching from the Vietnam wall of Larry Sinks

There will be a limited amount of Baltz library t-shirts and ornaments of Grand and Antique Hotel will be available for donations, and the cook books will be available for sale at $16 each. Also pick up a free Library Challenge calendar!
